Victoria Whitfield

Licensed Resident Psychotherapist

When couples and families experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My greatest passion is bringing healing to couples and families who have been through or going through traumatic/stressful situations. I help individuals, couples, and families in all stages of their problems to find healthy perceptions of themselves that create a space for strength, peace, and wholeness in their relationships that promotes safety.

What you can expect in our sessions:

You can expect empathy, and compassion as we work together to explore what you need in your journey. Together we will uncover changes that will lead to the outcome you desire. I believe that no single approach is the right one for every individual so I will work to customize my therapeutic approaches to help you in reaching your goals. During sessions, you will enter a judgment-free zone and you will be encouraged to speak your truth, recognize your emotions, and learn to navigate them.

Why Am I a Psychotherapist?

I became a therapist after realizing the legacy families and couples leave for their families, communities, and our society. Families shape our culture and the legacy they leave remains for generations. While our jobs are important, we're replaceable in those environments but in our relationships (families, marriage, parental, friends etc.) we're irreplaceable.
