What can you expect from our sessions?
I provide a safe, warm, and comfortable space for continued personal growth and development. For years I have had the privilege to use my training, skills, and experience to effect change in the lives of the diverse clients I serve. As my client, you will receive tailored, individualized care that fits your unique needs. A collaborative approach to counseling that centers on you being the expert in your life is central to our work together. As your counselor, I am committed to providing a safe and secure environment for you to realize your inner power that will propel you toward lasting transformation.
As a result of our work together, you will have more knowledge, power, and skills to work through difficulties. I have extensive experience in various settings working with adults, adolescents, and children who struggle with the impact of Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Depression, and Personality Disorders. I am passionate about working with neurodiverse clients, such as those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I am passionate about working alongside members of disadvantaged groups such as women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and people with disabilities.
Why did I decide to become a therapist?
I believe everyone possesses unique and powerful gifts that create a purpose-driven life. From a young age, I felt called toward a career in helping and advocating for others. I started my career as a social worker gaining my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Liberty University to reach as many people as possible using my unique gifts of helping and providing a safe space for those in need. Feeling limited in reaching and serving others, I furthered my education and training by graduating with my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. With my professional experience and knowledge, I consider it a privilege to use my skills to help others access their inner power to create a peaceful life.
