Have you recently experienced major life transitions or have past experiences that make you feel stuck? Do you feel hijacked by your emotions and don’t understand what triggers this response? My goal is to help my clients become the best versions of themselves through an accepting and compassionate lens.
I provide therapy to both adults and children and am highly experienced in trauma, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, and helping overcome difficult emotions. My specialty is working with clients to process and navigate trauma, improve communication and relationships, resolve conflicts, and improve self-identity.
What to Expect from our Sessions:
I believe in a judgment-free, holistic, person-centered approach. This means I adapt to the needs of my clients and work with their perspectives and lived experiences to improve wellness. Together, we work as a team to navigate symptoms, set goals, and discover root causes and increase self-acceptance. My clients will feel empowered to manage the challenges in their lives and experience a sense of wellness both mentally and physically.
As a minority, I understand the complexities of achieving self-identity and can serve Spanish-speaking clients and their families. I am deeply committed to offering a wide range of evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, mindfulness, play therapy, and more, tailored to the well-being of my clients.
Why I became a Therapist
After a personal experience with a loved one struggling to find support and resources for mental health, I realized the need for representation in the mental health community to reach diverse individuals. Regardless of identity or background, we all seek to find wellness and purpose in our lives. I am proud to serve the mental health space and be a part of the continued change towards improved mental wellness in our communities.
