What to Expect from our sessions

Together we will identify and explore intense experiences and emotions. I believe that a healthy therapeutic relationship should be filled with empathy, acceptance, and judgment-free space.

My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with trauma, self-harm, anxiety, and depression. I provide strategies and mindfulness techniques to challenge negative thoughts, calm distressing emotions, and overcome the choices that maintain anxiety and depression.

I work from a multicultural lens and consider my client’s cultural background and experiences. I will incorporate strategies that are customized for you! In our work together, you will learn to be more present and release what no longer serves you. My goal is to support each client in their healing to regain control of their life!

 Why I Became a Therapist

My life experiences and the stigma around mental health initiated my passion for helping others take charge of their mental and emotional well-being. Taking care of ourselves is essential to leading a healthy quality of life. Everyone’s journey to healing is different, and seeing my clients make breakthroughs that create happier and healthier lives is powerful. Life can be challenging, but you don’t have to go through it alone. It takes courage to ask for help, and I would love to be a part of your journey towards healing!
