Do the challenges in your life feel like they're too heavy to carry? Have certain thoughts or behavior patterns taken hold of your everyday life?

It’s paralyzing when you feel like nothing can change, but that’s where I can help. I’ll walk beside you to listen to your life stories and work collaboratively to teach you skills that will strengthen your relationships and give you more self-confidence.

Our time together is a safe space for you to discover or rediscover parts of yourself in your life journey.

If you are an adolescent, adult, or parent with a child who struggles with anger, anxiety, depression, grief, obsessive compulsions, self-harm, low motivation, or trauma- I can help you. I  use cognitive-behavioral and dialectic behavioral therapy techniques that will give you new insight into your problem, change your thinking and master new coping skills that will improve your quality of life.

What to Expect from our sessions

I implement solution-focused based techniques to help you look at previous patterns that have worked and what made those times the exception. I also hold family sessions to increase support, connection and strengthen the relational bonds within the family system.

I will use mindfulness techniques to ground you in the moment, so you can connect with your inner courage and strength. Once you feel steady, you will begin to use the tools you’ve learned to confidently put your feet forward. One final question to ask yourself is,  “Am I living in a way which is deeply satisfying to me, and which truly expresses me?” - Carl Rogers.

Change is not meant to be easy, and it can feel daunting, but let’s walk together in the dark to shine your lantern into the unknown.

Why I Became a Therapist

I believe that everyone has the right to be heard. When we’re surrounded by others who silence us, it can impact how we view ourselves and the rest of the world. I became a therapist because I want you to have the safe space to share and express yourself. I have confidence that our time together will help you explore aspects of yourself that you may be afraid to show others or discover traits of yourself that you want to further understand. The feelings of loneliness and isolation is another major reason why I became a therapist. I want you to know that you are not alone. You have the power and the strength to change, and I will be right next to you. Let’s do this together!
