Zion Restoration Counseling Services is seeking experienced Full-Time and Part-Time LCSWs, LMFTs, and LPCs to help us fulfill our mission of providing comprehensive mental and emotional wellness to our clients, families, and communities.

Responsibilities:

As a Therapist at Zion Restoration Counseling Services, you will:

  • Provide therapeutic services both via telehealth and in person, demonstrating confidence and proficiency in your practice.
  • Collaborate with clients and families to develop effective treatment plans tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including psychosocial assessments and progress notes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Work collaboratively with peers, maintain agreed-upon caseload, and attend staff meetings.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Active VA clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) with the ability to practice independently.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health counseling, preferably in private practice or similar setting.
  • Registered with NPI & CAQH (preferred).
  • Proficiency in standard office technology and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Schedule: Must have availability between 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Monday to Friday or Saturdays 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of mental health counseling experience preferred.

Part-Time must meet 20 weekly clinical session requirement

Full-Time must meet 28 weekly clinical session requirements

License/Certification: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in VA required. Ability to pass a background check.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Utilize experience and ideas in building a supportive and collaborative setting.
  • Foster a supervisor/supervisee relationship that is collaborative, with shared responsibility for growth.
  • Able to have tough conversations authentically and with transparency to maintain staff accountability.
  • Be a self-starter comfortable working a changing private practice environment.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a private practice and clinical leadership role.
  • Have experience providing oversight to 5 direct reports
  • Have excellent organization skills
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have experience working with commercial Insurance.
  • Be looking for long-term stability and growth.

Your Responsibilities and Goals in this position are to:

  • Monitor and oversee the clinical work of other clinicians
  • Be comfortable maintaining a weekly patient load of 10 clients
  • Provide instruction, training, and development support to emerging clinicians and the clinical team
  • Review and approve progress notes
  • Provide evidence based therapy to individuals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date charts that comply with the expectations and standards outlined in ZRCS’s Policy and Procedure manual.
  • Assist with creating policies and procedures that support our mission and services
  • Diligently work with us to continuously build a supportive and positive work environment
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical director to enhance and grow the practice and all service lines
  • Be an integral part of our team, bringing value to our work

This is where you come in! We are looking for energetic and passionate Part-Time Clinicians to help us sustain our mission of providing holistic mental and emotional wellness that will transform the lives of our clients, their families, and our communities.

As a Therapist, you will:

  • The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident in providing a high level of care via telehealth and in-person
  • Part Time candidates will be open/able to provide care for clients in-person 1 day per week or on a Saturday
  • Provide high-quality mental health services
  • Have a desire to learn and grow in knowledge and clinical skills
  • Collaborate with clients/families to create effective treatment plans
  • Increase clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation
  • Work collaboratively with peers
  • Be open to creating or "co-facilitating" groups
  • Attend and participate in peer consultations and group supervision
  • Maintain 20 (PT) clinicial sessions a week
  • Hold yourself ethically accountable in all areas of service provision

Requirements:

  • Resident Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) Resident in Counseling LPC-R in Virginia or LGPC in DC (active, in good standing, and registered)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in private practice (other mental health settings considered)
  • Part-Time (Must have after-school/evening availability or weekend hours and provide 20 clinical hours with 24 scheduling availability. (fully remote)
  • Experience providing counseling to both adults and children. Must be able to see both populations.
  • Experience working with Trauma, Anxiety, and Grief/Depression preferred
  • Knowledge and application of CBT, DBT and Gottman Method preferred
  • Previous experience facilitating groups (preferred)
  • Excellent communication with high attention to detail collectively brings value to our work solution-focused
